I was taught by some “old school” drivers in the 1900’s. Two black guys, one of them was what you’d call a “boomer” (though not to his face), and the other was older, from “The Greatest Generation.” They learned us:
When you are in the right lane, you are supposed to drive to the right-of-center. When you are in the left lane, you should favor the left side.
I feel like this is something that maybe they’re not teaching anymore in schools (?). I see a lot of drivers riding with their tires right on the zipper, and there is no reason for this. Are they teaching y’all this lately in your training classes? You don’t just ride down the center of your lane. That’s idiotic.
