Hi everyone! Long story short I’m a German citizen who is very interested in trucking in the US. I know only CDL’s from Canada and Mexico are reciprocated in the US. I’m hoping to become a truck driver on an H-2B visa.
I know I’ll have to get a CDL in the US. Would it be worth it to get one in Germany and work for a few years as a truck driver in the EU to increase my chances of a company sponsoring a visa or is the trucking shortage bad enough that I could get one without experience if I get a CDL in the US?
