Why park in no parking areas

Please excuse my voice tho never understood why people park in no parking areas. Been trucking with my guy for half a year non stop. Only reason we even stop on side of the road once. Because of my anxiety was so bad he had to grab my meds for me. He never parked in a no parking zone tho. This was near orlando florida when we saw them parking right beside the stairs to the door of the love…i didnt see a handicap sticker or placard either unless i was blind. Only reason i could imagine why they might stop there for their 10 hours. Atleast the swift driver carey (cant remember if it was a C or a K sorry) speaking in a video last month he seem fine. Tho again i have mental disability myself so cant say to much. Maybe thats why i dont understand and asking for an explanation why?
