I simply wonder why so many truck drivers seem to be opposed to an industry-wide strike? I understand many of you, company and O/O alike, are happy with your pay and situations. But many drivers out here are not being properly compensated for the time and risk involved in doing this job.
I’m genuinely wondering why so many drivers wouldn’t be willing to plan for that time off, and stand in solidarity with their brothers and sisters behind the wheel? Organized truckers in this country (and not necessarily led by the wildly corrupt and/or questionable Teamsters union) would, arguably, be the most powerful group of organized labor in North America.
Just want y’alls input on the topic.
