Alright so this so the second time in a few weeks I’ve had this happen to me. I’ll be driving along and notice the lane I’m in is about to turn into an exit only. So I check my mirrors throw my turn signal on and hop into the middle lane. The company I work for has us governed at 65. Inevitably I’ll see a truck pop out from behind me and jump in the left lane to pass. They start passing me and with their trailer about half way past my shoulder they just start coming into my lane. The first time this happened in Chicago heading towards Gary and the second time it happened on 80 east in PA. Both times I had to slam on the brakes. The most recent time I had to slam on the brakes and jump back into the right lane and almost lost it going downhill in the rain. Managed to get it stopped on the shoulder. If I hadn’t been empty I don’t know if I would have been able to get it back under control. But both time the other driver just sped the fuck off. I get it I’m doing 65 in a 70. But are these other drivers just getting mad that I’m going 5 under in the middle lane? Or they really just not realizing that they are nowhere near clear of me before coming over.
Why do you want to kill me??
