Why are some truckers so god damned loud?

This is the main reason I don’t hang out in driver lounges or areas that often. I just want to chill and mind my own business, and if there’s people in there there’s usually some loud mouth guy reeking of cigarettes having a loud-mouthed conservation with someone two feet from him. And it’s rarely anything interesting, usually just some shit he’s complaining about. I’m in the quiet room at my company’s terminal and I can hear this guy’s side of the conversation loud and clear another room away behind a closed door. Goddamn people.
