When you’re otr, how are you supposed to get to regular medical and dental appointments?

I mean you know how these places are, it’s not 1 and done, they need you to come in for an initial exam. and if you’re lucky they schedule something for 3 weeks later. and then the follow up for that is a month later. Etc.

Examples dental implants, any medical problem that’s more than 1 visit. How are you supposed to do this when you’re otr? Sure you tell your FM you need to be home on this date, are they gonna route you there every month?

I don’t see how it works. Maybe this is part of why so many truckers have bad health. I’m pretty healthy but I need at least 3 Implants, and I haven’t been to a Dr in years and have like 6 things to address with them.
