Pretty much what the title says. I’ve been wondering for a while now what kind of ADAS are available in big trucks. Passenger cars are at the point where you can get blind spot monitoring, blind spot cameras, rear cross-traffic alert, 360° camera view, lane keep assist, trailer reverse assist, even hands-free driving modes that will change lanes and make passes for you. How much of that kind of thing can you get in a new truck right now?
I’m aware that there’s a lot of controversy around ADAS in the auto enthusiast community and I assume it’s the same with truckers. I’m curious about your opinions on this stuff, but mostly I’m just wondering what is actually available.
