I’m thinking of going rogue. I’ve heard that Alaska has really expensive groceries and supplies compared to the lower 48 states. So my wacky idea is get a 26 foot Uhaul or Penske truck with “unlimited” miles, then I drive up a large load of cargo up to Alaska then sell the load for a profit.
Insanity? Absolutely, but is it worth it, maybe.
So truckers who truck from the lower 48 to Alaska, what are some things I should be aware of when crossing into Canada?
What documents would I need to move cargo from the USA to Alaska via Canada?
How does Canadian customs treat you guys?
Please respond.
