Whats up guys. Im in a bit of a pickle. So I am a western express driver(roast me). I do OTR Flatbed. For future reference, prior to trucking I was in the Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan and then I was an EMT for a while before getting my CDL. I was dealing with some mental health issues that I desperately needed help. I got in trouble and got a violent misdemeanor. My misdemeanor drops off in April to where I can go to a WAY better company. Im only getting enough miles a week to make about 300-400$. These guys give me shit loads, fucked up loads to where I sit for a day or two waiting on western to fix it. I can’t do this anymore, financially a CDL is fucking wrecking me to where I cant even pay my own bills. I love this job a lot and wanna stay in it. Is there another company I can perhaps apply to that may be friendly with my background record? Western is really killing my drive to even wanna be a trucker. I don’t even consider myself a trucker since all I do is sit around in a parking lot all day.
If it helps I have an honorable discharge from the USMC and a perfect MVR. I have 5 months of flatbed experience with no accidents or tickets and I also have college done.
