Had a guy with a Prime trailer pull thru and park beside me last night. Single row pull thru so my tractor is beside his trailer now. Smoke coming off the back of the trailer very visibly. I get my light and duck under his trailer. Disc brakes and only the rearmost axle is HOT and smoking on both sides. I walk up and tell him. He was already heading for bed. I got back in my truck. He comes to the back of his trailer and doesn’t even go under it. Goes back up in his truck and goes to bed. In the morning he’s gone. No decent truck shop for at least 20 miles. My question is, “If you were him, what should he have done?”
