Went to school and got my class A back in December. Every job i looked at required 6m+ experience, frustrated I decided to try driving bus for a while until i could manage to get class A work. Went through training for school/passenger with local bus company. Weeks into training i was let go because of a criminal record from 26 years ago! Back to looking for class A work/classB work, anything really. But everything requires experience, and several companies have now said i have been out of school too long. 39 companies, 51 different positions applied for and still nothing. I have a perfect MVR, no tickets, no accidents, not even a parking ticket. Sadly i can not go OTR. Have I wasted $6k in schooling cost and 6+ months of my life for a dead end?

Im in NE Florida (jacksonville)
I have applied for every position I can regardless of min experience requirements, on call backs i am told i do not qualify.
