Unexpectedly had life changes and my truck sat for a year. Scared diesel is bad. What do?

I haven’t tried turning the truck on since June and I didn’t expect for it to be that long, really only drove the truck 3 times last year.

I put Howes Diesel Treat in there at the beginning of 2022, same fuel has sat in there and now I’m wondering if that fuel could have gone bad since it’s a “treatment” and not a “stabilizer”

What should I do? Put some stabilizer in now? Run the fuel down to an eighth of a tank and add new fuel? Get it tested with Blackstone?

I’m looking to sell this truck and want to make sure I don’t destroy it the engine when I turn it on.
