I figured as the user base you guys might have some insight to this.
Bought it a bit over a year ago, working perfectly fine, and now over the last week it suddenly can’t figure out where the fuck it is.
Kinda pissin me off because I’ve taken exceptional care of it over the last year. I don’t leave it in the truck overnight so extreme temperature swings don’t screw with it, haven’t dropped it, and I take it out in my go bag every night when I come home.
Is there something goin wrong with the Garmin satellites? Is this a widespread issue? Do these units normally break down after only a year? What’s everyone else’s experiences? Cause if I have to replace this motherfucker after only a year I’m gonna be lookin at Garmin’s competitors for the next one.
Edit: forgot to add, I know sometimes certain electronic films layered over the windshield can affect the GPS units, but this is the same truck I’ve been driving with the same windshield for the last 4 months with no issues except for the last week or so
