My trainee (21M) is a snarky fucker whenever I (23M) correct him. When I double down, he acts like it’s a personal attack. He is always trying to waste time with sightseeing, and thinks I’m a big ol’ meanie for saying no. He’s my first trainee, and I’m two weeks away from being rid of him. Give me wisdom. Give me patience. Give me an excuse.
Edit: Thank you everyone for your advice, jokes, and jabs. I appreciate every single one of you. I’m going to see this training experience through because I see it as an opportunity to improve myself. To his credit, he’s a good driver, and he gets better every day. He just really irked me today. And my trainee is not u/Rodeo6a. Helluva shitpost, though, man.
