Trailer moving insurance

I move trailers infreuqently, like 4 times a year or so. I bobtail to grab a stack of finished trailers and drive them home on my owned truck. I was wondering if anyone has done the same and had a wreck. I just went ahead with cargo insurance, but what would be the correct way to insure this should I have a wreck. Dont want to give the insurance company a way to weasel out of paying out. I also dont want to throw money away on coverage i dont need.
