Been looking to jump back into trucking after 8 months off the road. Drove OTR / Midwest regional for Prime Inc. for 4 years and life got hard and had to step away for a bit to correct my life. Ive heard about TMC through the pipeline and seeing trucks on the road, flatbed has always been in the back of my mind and home every weekend would be HUGE coming from 8 weeks out and 1 week home. Being that I already have a 4y CDL OTR with every endorsement except school bus, TWIC card and a spotless driving record, does anyone know what my training would be like? I would just need load securement training on flatbed and everything else I already know and i personally do not want to jump on a trainers truck for weeks…been there and done that. And yes, I know I can make more money else ware or doing some other trucking job / company, I know, more to life than money.
