This industry is severely under paid for the reasons we risk our lives everday driving a truck. Not to mention know place of business will have material without a trucker bringing the supplies. There so many professions that pay the same if not more then a trucker.

Warehouse workers these days are making 25-30$ an hour like come on. Dog groomers make more then us I can go on an on. But our job load is so much more riskier then majority of professions there should be an increase in pay. Long hours with b.s. pay doesn’t make any sense. The incentive should increase for the companies as a whole the incentive to take loads should increase. Seriously if we all came together we could change things.
