Hey guys, so as the title suggests I am thinking about getting into trucking. Naturally I have a few questions.

1.) What is the best way to start? Being new I know that there are a lot of people out in the world that are more experienced than me & wish they knew what they now know when they first started out. What are some things you wish you knew? What is the best path to make the most money? I am thinking about signing up for whatever class A class, taking my test and then signing up with whatever company pays the best for a newbie.

2.) How does it all work? Let’s say I get licensed and sign on with a company, can I expect a steady stream of loads coming my way? Or are they few and far between?

3.) What can I expect to get paid my first year? I am 100% willing to do long haul and I’ve heard people have been able to clear 40k year 1 and 80k year 2, are those numbers about what I can expect? Or is there a better path to make more money in years 1 and 2?
Thank you guys in advance, I have been thinking about making this move for a long while and I think it’s time. I’m 22 years old, no debt, 100k saved from being a realtor during covid, and so I’m curious if it would make sense to dive straight into being an owner operator? Or is company better given the current climate? Either way, please let me the best way to fast track. Thank you.
