I’ve wasted 15 hours at a truck stop so far waiting on a air bag valve module to be replaced and the closest hotel is 30 miles away. I can’t drive tomorrow thanks to being 5 hours away from home, trucks been in the shop bay since this morning.
I’m not paid for this since I’m an o/o
I just paid 500ish for a PM and now another 500 ish for this part and labor.
I can’t work the rest of the week thanks to having to care for family members health issues.
Some days I feel like trucking is all I have cus I’m so introverted. Others like today I’m damn near suicidal cus I don’t really have anyone to call and talk to and those few hours I’m home at the end of the day are all that keeps me sane. I’ve been so stressed lately. So lonely.
All I’ve done here is just swipe right on a dating app hoping to talk a bit to someone. Every other day I’m thinking I need to quit driving, but I honestly have no clue what I’d do anymore or how I’d get by making less than 1k a week. I could switch to being a company guy but then I’d be stressing about things at home with my family members.
Gotta love being a trucker..
