Texas regional companies that don’t mind unemployment gaps?

Can someone please suggest some regional companies that don’t care about employment history? I have 1 year experience but I am having a hard time finding a home weekly job due to my employment history. I have been an independent contractor for 2 companies within the past 4 years.

I use those jobs on driver applications and some trucking companies ask me to show them tax returns for those companies but I don’t have any because I didn’t make enough to even receive a 1099 income tax form. It seems like since I don’t have tax returns they might see them as employment gaps.
