Split (7/3 and 8/2) Help!!

Hi,

I’m looking for some clarification on the 7/3 and 8/2 split sleeper deal… I think it’d be best to ask my specific clarification questions in examples:

Example A
Monday, I start my day at 11am, drive to shipper, pickup at 1pm, arrive to receiver at 9pm, go into SLEEPER. Tuesday, I get unloaded and drive to my next shipper at 10am (HOS Start @ 10), arrive at shipper by 11am, go into SLEEPER (live load). Am in SLEEPER until 3pm. Drive to receiver, arrive at 12mid, immediately go into SLEEPER. SLEEPER until **7am**… **When would I be required to stop for my next short split (2 or 3 hours)**?

Example B
Monday, I start my day at 11am, drive to shipper, pickup at 1pm, arrive to receiver at 9pm, go into SLEEPER. Tuesday, I get unloaded and drive to my next shipper at 10am (HOS Start @ 10), arrive at shipper by 11am, go into SLEEPER (live load). Am in SLEEPER until 3pm. Drive to receiver, arrive at 12mid, immediately go into SLEEPER. SLEEPER until **10am**… **Does the 10 hours from 12mid to 10am completely reset my “split sleeper” deal? Do I get to start over with a solid 11h drive/14h on duty? Or am I locked into splitting until my 34h reset?**
