Please be brutally honest. How dangerous is truck driving? Can I avoid winter driving and consider the job safe? I am trying to leave a bad situation and I’m so scared that I’m putting myself in another dangerous situation out of habit.

I’m smart and I’m attentive/safe. I’m not an idiot. I’m just looking for some truth. I need to become independent and I just don’t know what to do.
