Hey guys, I started working as a dispatch recently. Currently I have 5 trucks that I take loads for. Since most of them Power Only, I almost always take loads from Amazon relay. One of my colleagues work with DAT load board and he recently got scammed for 6k$. Long story short, he got a load, checked the MC number for factoring and such. Everything seemed legit as he said although there were some red flags like broker’s official email ended with gmail.com also he could not copy addresses from rate confirmation( cause they were edited).
Anyway my question is how I make sure that broker is the real broker and that they will pay for the load delivered.
