I was about to make a right turn to my final in Las Vegas when I noticed it was a bit tight. I was thinking about moving into the lane for more room, but there was a shit ton of traffic all around and behind me. I would need to stop and wait maybe 30 seconds to a minute before I could get in the left Lane. I figured I could make it if I used all the room the traffic around me allowed. I went around the turn I realised that I wasn’t just going to hit the curb, but I was maybe within a foot of hitting the light pole. I had to commit at this point and I hopped the curb and the sidewalk pretty bad. My tandems were slid halfway back, and I miscalculated how much room I had. How big of a mistake is this to make in the first month? It looked pretty embarrassing.
