Okay, so I just got into it with my boss and quit my job, because He wanted to load a single axle dump truck thats registered and GVWR is 33,000lbs.
He wanted me to load over in the bed at about 34,000lbs of load, PLUS pull a 6ton bob cat / trailer (Trailer weighs 3500lb bobcat weighs 6600lb and attachments weigh 1000)
So he thinks because his GCVWR is “55,000lbs” That he can put a full load on the truck PLUS make it haul a trailer.
So the truck is overweight by about 1,000lbs just by itself then you add 6ton more of a trailer
I explained to him that it doesnt matter what the GCVWR is it matters what the truck is registered at (33,000 is what its plated for) and it matters your axle weight.
So, can a single axle truck with a GVWR of 33,000lbs haul in total 10,000lbs PLUS 12,000lb trailer?
