I am not a truck driver but like to think I have a deep appreciation for the industry ( watching YouTube haha). I was passing a rest area off 95 today in the northeast and saw a bunch of truckers pulled over on the side of the road today near the rest area. Is that because there is not enough parking? And is it legal? Or is it illegal and everyone just ignores it.

Also, I saw that a bunch of these truckers had their curtains closed, which probably means that they are sleeping. How hard is it to get sleep off the side of 95 compared to a regular truck stop?
