Long story short I worked for Melton from 12/2021-5/2022. First driving job. I liked them but I left to try reefer. Now I feel like a lazy sack o’ shit and hate 3am appt times and lumpers and want to go back to flatbed. Melton was very good to me and they really do run all 48 states, which I like. I would start at 58cpm but since I already have about 50k “melton miles” I’m well on my way to 60 cpm after 120k “melton miles”. The company I work for now (Leonard’s Express) is also a good company but since they’re smaller I end up doing a lot of the same runs over and over to and from Western NY. And I’m only 22 which disqualifies me from a lot of places (Ex. TMC) that require drivers to be 23. And also I’m afraid I’ll start to look like a job hopper. I’m a mess. There’s more details that I could go into but those are the main points
