Seasonal OTR question

I’m planning on leaving a boring office job for CDL school in the coming year. I don’t rent or mortgage a place and don’t intend to ever, and I currently live out of a tent and intend to keep doing so. My goal is to work seasonal OTR for about six months through the fall and winter and take six months off spring through summer (or something like that since I’m flexible). Since I don’t have a home base, I want to live and work as much as possible in the company truck for those six months. Are companies amenable to this type of situation?
