I have been a delivery driver since 2019, wanted to look into trucking got accepted by Roehl CDL training program… and I want to make a good choice but these are my concerns?
1. 120,000K to complete commitment? Which doesn’t sound to bad at first but my mom is a truck driver and has been for the last 10 years and sometimes she complained about how much “sitting around” they had her doing, so in my head I’m like my completion time would basically depend on how often they are getting me loads and how far that load is? And why not a year or a year and 6 months? Basing completion off of mileage just seems fishy to me.
2. manual or automatic? I seen in a different chat they only did automatic which puts restrictions on your license but manual gives you more options I needed clarity on that?
3. if you leave before your commitment is over do they offer payment plans to pay back the $7,000 dollars?
4. should I just go to a school or roehl based from your experience with them?
