So I did a drop and hook loaded trailer today for Lowes store in Port Arthur TX…

Basically, pull out the empty and put in loaded trailer for them to unload on their own time. That was around 11am

I got paperwork signed and was ok’d to leave. Went and picked up my next load in Houston.

Well now on my 10hr break, in Louisiana, I got a phone call from after hours dispatch that I have to go back in the morning because apparently they can’t get the dock ramp back up to unload. And they can’t get any other driver to move the trailer.

This is the 1st time this has happened to me. Usually after-hours dispatch really be trippin’ and over exaggerates things.

Should I just go back as soon as my 10hrs is up? Or should I wait until store is open and call them back up?

I just dont want to waste unnecessary time and need some advice for yall more experienced drivers please
