Hello,

Forgive me if I’m in the wrong sub, but I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I currently drive for a welding shop delivering projects to construction sites within a hundred miles radius with trucks and combinations less than 26,000, so I don’t need a CDL.

I know once we leave the 100 mile radius and cross state lines transportation rules get tricky, but can anyone tell me what rules we should be following to maintain DOT requirements? If I load up this door into a 14,000# GVWR vehicle, can I haul it down myself as long as I don’t exceed 11 hours of driving and a 14hr shift?
