New otr company driver. Not new to trucking. Had to switch trucks due to other truck taking too long to repair. Other truck had a check engine light after leaving company yard at around 500 miles away. Eventually had to take it to the shop. Anyways I was picking this truck up doing a pre trip and found this. Of course I asked the company shop if they would replace it they said it was good. I even asked twice. Than decided to just call it in and they sent a tire company to replace it. I was wondering also since my company is owned by another company, did the mechanics not want to replace my tire because they don’t care about my company or was the tire really good to keep rolling?
