Reefer wanting to switch to tanker, how is the retraining process? Will I have to team drive allot?

Getting my reefer experience currently, in total about 6 months or so experience, but just restarting again after a few years. So right now I only have a month of “recent” experience, doing solo reefer loads. I really want to go the route of being a tanker driver, and eventually doing hazmat loads. What is the training process of switching? I saw Schneider has a tanker division and hazmat. So I am thinking of maybe contacting them after a few more months here.

I understand if I have to team drive SOME. However I just always had a issue with sleeping at all in a moving truck. It will be utter hell for me, plus not being a people person. How long would I have to team drive for? Or will it be mostly training in the yard, and not team driving?
