Hey Guys and Gals , I know you all probably see these types of messages all the time I do apologize in advance. I’m 21 and I am interested in trucking I live in the Dallas TX and I applied to the KLLM/FEE driving school I did get accepted and I am on to start the driving school on June 19th , I was told after completing the class which only lasts 22 days I would do OTR Training for 6 weeks which I would be paid 500$ a week and after that I would be put into the LineHaul Division the starting pay is .50 cents / mile and 35$ Customer Stop Pay. I have no clue if this is good pay and I really don’t wanna be taken advantage of. I was wondering if I should look more companies in the surrounding areas to weight my options and if anyone has any advice on this too. If you guys have any tips for trucking I would greatly appreciate that and if there is any important lingo I need to know too. Thank you guys in advance
