(Question) How can I get started trucking?

Hello Reddit!

I know this is a frequently asked question, especially here…But I’m 19 years old and I’m really set on getting started trucking. My only problem is I don’t really know where to start. From my brief research companies either want prior experience (Which i don’t have obviously), or they want to be be 21 to train with them.

I don’t have a problem with being locked into a contract with a company to get my CDL, but my main concern is I need to be local. So right now I’m really confused on what I should do.
