Not a trucker, but have a question for y’all. I’ve noticed an increasing amount of trucks with their hazards on while in traffic. Not only in snowy conditions, but also in just sunny day rush hour type congestion. What’s the reasoning here? Is it something that the truck automatically does or does the operator control it?
Main reason for my question is because I usually try and let rigs over if I see their turn signal on. Sometimes I’m mistaking their hazard for a turn signal.
