I’ve been taking loads for my company mainly from the PNW into the Dakotas/Midwest. Tonight I have my first freeze warning, the night before my reefer trailer doors were frozen over. This all leads to my question…

When should drivers add anti gel? Do reefer trailers need it too?

I should also add, I would ask my company but they sent me on the road without showing me how to turn on a reefer, set temp or run pre trip, so I figure I’d ask other drivers.
