Hello, I skimmed the rules and seen the ” getting into trucking ” article but I didn’t see it list Grace trucking but it’s a Canadian company. apologize if I missed it or this isn’t allowed.
I’m looking into switching careers, Ive always wanted to drive truck or get into a construction operator but my dad passed around the same time I was considering it years ago and it just messed up my plans and I had to become independent fast.
Grace trucking seems well recognized and they offer inhouse training at there cost. And getting insured as a new driver seems to becoming increasingly difficult.
Does anyone here have any experience with Grace trucking and can give some insight into their inhouse program? Clearly you would be contracted to them for X amount of time to cover the training. I would be fine doing over the road for a while but ideally getting something local would be ideal after a few years.
They don’t have an email contact and I haven’t called them yet, just trying to get some extra information.
Also with the self driving tech and everything, I’m 34 would this be a wise career path or problematic In the next 10 years.
