I’m sitting in Denver now, and over the next few nights (friday to monday) it’ll be between -3 and -12. Places like Sioux Falls in SD will be between -3 and -19 through tuesday night. Omaha, NE will be between -3 and -18 til tuesday night.
Make sure to buy antigel, use it according to the directions. Tripling the dosage will not help you, some you can double, again read the intructions.
Carry extra fuel filters for your Davcos and buy a wrench for them, or at least pickup a strap wrench and learn to swap them out. Buy a small bucket if you don’t have one as well. This way if your truck starts to stall and hiccup and lose power while going up hills or mountains, you can swap it out in minutes and save yourself hours for a truck shop to send someone to you.
