Switched to a company that uses Peterbilts. I learned pretrip on Freightliner Cascadia. Trying to familiarize myself with the differences in location and sometimes shape of parts without having to ask for a walkthrough and looking dumb.
Can somebody answer a few questions?
I understand pic 1 is a leaf spring, so what is the part across the bottom in pic 2 which the airbag mount is bolted to? Just part of the frame, huh?
Pic 3, i’m confused about that bar fixed above the u bolts. Not a torque rod, right?
Pic 4, top right is alternator and below that is air compressor, so what is that top left bluish part that has its own belt?
Pic 5, i’m supposed to be able to find the water pump by following the coolant hose, right?
Pic 6, i’m supposed to be able to follow a hose from the power steering fluid reservoir to find the power steering pump, right?
Pic 5-6, where is the AC compressor?
