I’m looking to join the trade and have an interview coming up for a paid apprenticeship/CDL training at a local trucking & warehouse company. The recruiter says I’ll be paid $15/hour during initial training, $1000/week during ride along training. That’s fine and seems pretty good. But after that, they pay 23% of the load, with steps up to 25.5% and 26.5%.
Does this make sense? I have no idea how much the company charges their customers. They run mostly groceries, This sounds like it puts a lot of uncertainty on my pay.
