Partial shift but have recap coming

Quick question, I I had worked a partial shift today with only 8 hours left on my clock. And right now I am doing a split. I get recap of 11 hours at midnight. Does this allow me to inherit the remaining 6 hours of a normal ship to use for driving ? I only drove 6 hours today so I got 2 hours 14 minutes left after I leave my receiver and I am bound to go to Columbus from Louisville which is a 3-hour drive with on-site parking at the shipper. My question is with only working a partial shift, does the recap that is gained at midnight allow for me to inherit more hours if I were to use a split? Thank you!
