Hey all! Long time commenter, first time poster.
Long story short I’ve been wanting to get my CDL-A training. I was working in towing and have found the “work 12 hours, go to bed, and get woken up for a wreck 2 hours later” life really doesn’t work for me.
I went down the list of 3 and 4 star training companies in the list on this sub and all of them either do not now offer training, or do not have accounts in my area (around Eugene Oregon). SWIFT was the only one I didn’t check thanks to you guys.
The one local option I have is for a local company but they do not have any openings until may of next year.
Unfortunately I really can’t afford to go to school on my own right now. I’m guessing the list is a bit outdated due to the number of No’s I got. I’m wondering if you all have any other idea of companies that might be willing to hire. Willing to do any type of driving, I don’t mind not being home for weeks at a time, etc. Have over 2 years experience driving company vehicles so I don’t think CDL-A is a stretch
