Hey guys, I know this isn’t a job board, but I don’t want 500 companies contacting me at the same time, and this counts as networking, right?
Between my employer and McKinney trailers, I’m either going to have my record destroyed or lose the roof over my head. I’m constantly having to get trailers worked on (mostly inspections) and McK has made it so difficult. The company I’m with is also being watched by DOT because of the drivers, IE not having a valid license. Oooo boy. There’s no job security here.
I recently got my haz, and have had tanker for a bit. I have a bit over 4 years of experience, and just a couple of minor things on my record. I live in the DFW area, and would really like to be local, but regional ( ≥ 2 days off) would work. I’d like haz tanker. A perfect world would be 4-5 12s, hourly. My knees are screwed up so no scaffolding or food service.
If this isn’t appropriate, please let me know, but at this point I’m getting desperate. I’ve applied at Love’s, Pilot, and Messer; not only have they not gotten back to me, I can’t even get ahold of anyone. Voicemails and texts haven’t been returned. I don’t want to settle; I’m a good, reliable worker, but I’m afraid for my future and trying to take care of my family.
