Hello good morning, I am a new trucker (I do not have a CDL license) I am going to work for a friend who has a truck, he has a dodge ram 2500, (I can carry loads up to 9000lbs) he pays me 25% of what they pay of the trip, I want to know what are your best tips.
I started with it because I want to buy my own truck, but I don’t know how to get the jobs, because everyone tells me that it’s with brokers (but I don’t even know how to get the brokers XD) what I need is to know how to start, how It is done with the truck and cargo insurance, because they tell me that the insurance is $3,000/month, but according to some friends they tell me that there are always jobs here and that if I have my own truck, I can make at least $5,000/week, but it seems a bit unreal to me, because no one tells me how to get the jobs.
