Hello everyone. I’m new to asking questions on here. I live in Las Vegas and I’d like to get into trucking. Been a lot attendant at a dealership for 5 years it’s time for a change and to make big money I’m tired of struggling. I currently have a CDL class A learners permit with tankers endorsement and a 2 year DOT medical card. I’m interested in driving ready mix. There’s companies offering paid CDL training and everything. Calportland is offering $23.05 and $25.05 after training. Any ready mix drivers out here can give me advice? Is the schedule all that messed up? Long term career? My goal eventually would be to drive oil tankers or garbage collection. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated im new to the industry. 🙂
