Quickly summed up, it’s unbelievable how difficult in this industry it is to get ahold of someone.

Especially if it’s for a job opening or general questions related to the job.

I noticed this industry is very “unique” – It’s like, “Yeah, we need truckers badly! We’re desperate and hiring 10 jobs!” But when you call them to show interest, ask questions about the job itself or anything else related – they never answer the phone.

I noticed this to be a common occurrence in this industry. Industries I’ve worked for prior to trucking, networking to HR or a manager etc was fairly easy and they actually called back.

I’ve called probably 20+ people, HR etc in the last month if not more, just to leave detailed voicemails etc. How often are these guys out of their office?

You say you need people, but it’s like you’re not hiring.
