I’m currently sitting outside the gate at Nestlé Water in Stanwood, MI. That’s how long the line of trucks is just to get checked in. I’ve been sitting here for almost an hour and haven’t even made it inside the gate.
Once I do get inside, I know for a fact that I’m going to be standing in line to get checked in for over an hour. Then it’ll probably be another hour before I can get in a door. Then probably another 2 hours for them to actually load me. My appointment is for 5pm. I’ve been here since 3:30. My appointment time will be well past before I can even get checked in.
I know we have the right to refuse loads. I’ve been with my company for 3 years and have never done that before. But I’m contemplating it now. What would ya’ll do?
