Told them 3 weeks in advance when I wanted to be home. They gave me a load the week I’m supposed to be home, going in the opposite direction of home. I told them this would put me back a day and to give me something heading home that way I wouldn’t miss Thanksgiving with family. They told me they “couldn’t” do that and that I had to get this “super important” load that “had to be picked up by that day.”
Fast forward a couple days and now the actual load home can’t even be delivered on the planned day because it’s the holidays so they’re routing me home a day late anyways. The best part? They’re trying to not pay me for the 250 miles extra it’ll take to get to and from home even though it was their idea to go ahead and send me home.
I would’ve left this company already but I got into an “accident” with a curb that damaged a trailer and wanted to build up my safe driving record before applying somewhere else. Hindsight’s 20/20 I guess. Thanks for listening to me bitch.
